The current "owners" of the house are the 8th generation of the same family to call this house "home". Over the last 250 years or so, the house has served as a: Working Farm, Primary Residence, Business office, Summer home, Vacation home, Rental property, and family gathering place.
It is the aim of the current generation, to maintain the house while making it as comfortable as possible for all year use. To this end, a great deal of love and sweat equity have been poured into the house by the recent generations to keep the house intact.
